BUYING PROPERTY AT AUCTION — HOW IT WORKS

Foreclosure and auction properties can present strong opportunities, but they require the right strategy, capital, and execution. This page explains how our auction process works and how first timers or investors can get involved.

WHY INVESTORS LOOK AT AUCTIONS

Texas continues to see a growing number of foreclosures, creating opportunities for buyers.

Auction purchases are different from traditional real estate:

  • Limited or no interior access
  • Tight timelines
  • Title and lien considerations
  • Occupancy risk
  • No room for emotional bidding

Preparation and discipline matter more than the purchase price.

OUR AUCTION APPROACH

We do not chase every auction property.

Our team focuses on:

  • Reviewing upcoming auction opportunities
  • Evaluating risk, exit strategy, and budget
  • Setting disciplined maximum bids
  • Factoring title, condition, and occupancy
  • Executing with timelines

WAYS TO GET INVOLVED WITH AUCTION PURCHASES

OPTION 1: PARTICIPATE IN AN AUCTION PURCHASE (LEARNING + RETURN)

This option is designed for investors who want hands-on exposure to auction purchases before committing to buying a property on their own.

What this looks like:

  • Participate alongside our team in an auction acquisition
  • Learn how deals are evaluated, bid, and executed
  • Gain real exposure to timelines, risk, and decision-making
  • Participate in a live transaction from start to finish

Minimum participation starts at $20,000.

This option is often used by investors who want to:

  • Understand how auctions actually work
  • Learn the process before running their own deal
  • Build confidence through real participation

OPTION 2: PURCHASE AN AUCTION PROPERTY YOURSELF (GUIDED PURCHASE)

This option is for experienced buyers who want to purchase an auction property in their own name or entity, with full guidance from our team throughout the process.

Common use cases include:

  • Rental properties
  • Fix and flip projects
  • Buyers executing their own strategy with professional support

What we provide:

  • Deal review and risk assessment
  • Bidding strategy and maximum bid guidance
  • Auction, deposit, and closing coordination
  • Support before, during, and after the auction

You remain the owner and decision-maker.
We provide structure, insight, and execution support.

This option is best for buyers who have experience and either:

  • A strong cash position, or
  • At least $50,000 in liquid capital to qualify for funding

NEXT STEP Auction participation is not open to the public. All applicants are reviewed.

Access is limited. Not all applicants are approved.

HOW THE SERVICE WORKS

Our auction services are not sold or activated online.

All services and participation options are discussed and structured over a call to ensure:

  • Goals are aligned
  • Capital requirements make sense
  • The right option is selected
  • Expectations are clear on both sides

No commitments are made before this conversation.

WHY AUCTION ACCESS IS PRIVATE

Auction opportunities are not shared publicly or automatically.

Before granting full access, we confirm:

  • Capital readiness
  • Investment goals and timeline
  • Market focus and risk tolerance

This helps protect buyers from rushing into the wrong deal and preserves the integrity of the auction process.

Access is granted only after a call or securing a spot.

WHO THIS IS / IS NOT FOR

This is a good fit if you:

  • Are serious about buying at auction
  • Have available capital or access to funding
  • Want guidance and structure
  • Understand auctions involve real risk
  • Value process over hype

This is not a fit if you:

  • Are only browsing or just curious
  • Want free public auction lists
  • Are not financially prepared
  • Are uncomfortable with uncertainty
  • Expect guarantees
